SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK) today announced that Bansi Nagji has
been appointed executive vice president of corporate strategy and
business development. Starting this week, Nagji reports to chairman and
CEO John Hammergren and he succeeds Brian Tyler, who has fully
transitioned to a new position as president, North American
Pharmaceutical Distribution and Services.

executive team, along with deep innovation, leadership and marketing

Nagji comes to McKesson from Deloitte Consulting, LLP, where he led
their U.S. and global strategy practice. Prior to Deloitte, Bansi was
president of Monitor Group, a global management consulting firm that was
acquired by Deloitte in 2013. He was instrumental in the integration of
Monitor into Deloitte’s operations.
Nagji has more than 20 years of experience working with clients on
enterprise-wide growth and innovation challenges in the life sciences
and consumer sectors. At Deloitte, he strengthened the company’s global
reach as the leader of its Global Strategy service line and co-chair of
the Global Strategy Governance Committee. A noted expert on innovation,
he has authored several articles and papers on the topic. Nagji has
previously served as on the Board of Directors of Deloitte, LLP and
several other business and nonprofit boards.
Prior to joining Monitor, he worked as a solicitor in London with one of
Europe’s largest law firms. He holds a BA and MA from Cambridge
University, England, and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, France.
Brian Tyler Promoted to President, North American Pharmaceutical
Distribution and Services
Tyler, McKesson’s former strategy chief, has fully transitioned to a new
role that was created after McKesson’s acquisition of the global
pharmaceutical distribution company, Celesio. Tyler, a longtime McKesson
executive, is responsible for the company’s North American
pharmaceutical distribution and related businesses, including McKesson
U.S. Pharmaceutical, McKesson Canada, McKesson Specialty Health and
McKesson Pharmacy Systems & Automation. Tyler reports to Paul Julian,
executive vice president and group president.

his extensive experience with most of the businesses that fall under his
